Sunny Side Up
When traveling internationally, I always keep my eyes peeled for brands/designers/stores that are native to that location. So while I was in India, I would ask co-workers where they shop, brands they liked, designers they loved. I also did some research on my own by picking up fashion mags such as Vogue India. It actually was on my way back to the US that I discovered Olio. I had grabbed an Elle India mag in one of the airport stores. This particular one had a spread on Indian designers to know. I was immediately drawn to a picture of a girl in a cute shift dress with a massive sunny side egg running (no pun intended!) down the left side. I quickly researched the brand and fell completely in love. I literally could wear every piece I saw as I scrolled through the site. Lucky for me, a friend from India would be visiting the US shortly after my return. He kindly agreed to add my order to his suitcase! And here I am, wearing my sunny side up egg shirt. I have to admit, it's a bit strange that this is the second piece of clothing I purchased (from India) that has an egg on it! Obsessive much?
Any-who. I decided to give this outfit a bit of a twist, literally. As the shirt is a bit longer in length and wider in width, I decided to twist and tie the front of the shirt. It gives this boxy shirt a bit of a feminine spin and eliminates a bit of the bulk. So with that tip, let's go raid the boys' closets!
