What is up with this ridiculously cold weather? It's mid-May and my black tights are still on stand-by. Since being home from India, there's only been one day where it was warm enough to bare my legs. Free the legs! Sadly, that was short lived as I was back at it with my black tights literally the next day. Whomp, whomp. The minute the temps crested 60 degrees with zero wind, I shimmied myself into this striped skirt sans tights. Don't you just love the bit of fringe? I think it adds just enough flair without overdoing it, keeping it totes office appropriate. Here's a lil secret about this skirt. It looks like a wrap skirt but in fact, only requires a quick zip up the back. So no need to fumble with properly wrapping the skirt or living in constant fear that somehow I didn't tie it right and it could slip off at any minute. Now talk about a career limiting move if this happened while talking to an executive!

I paired this nauti number with the trusty ole chambray button down; an artful way to sneak a little bit of denim into the office. It should be no surprise that I reached for my latest fave pair of nude flats. Not only are the super comfy, they literally go with everything. And to add the slightest hint of color, I grabbed this blush bag from my stash (I've also been waiting to break this one out for some time now!).
