Office Resortwear

As I was going through my closet to find a top to go with my suit, a print caught my eye. The print belonged to a tunic that I, unfortunately, did not get the chance to wear over the summer. The bright coral and purple hues would definitely pop against an all black backdrop. At that moment, I decided to get a little creative. Who says resortwear should only be restricted to the beach? In an effort to make it office appropriate (basically not show my bra through the sheer fabric), I put on a black camisole and threw the tunic over it. I then gathered the bottom of the tunic and knotted it in the back, which my blazer hid very nicely. This outfit was a hit, as I received a few compliments on my 'shirt'. Ladies, don't let seasonal clothing limit your outfits. Get creative! Besides, stretching clothes over multiple seasons = stretching your dollars spent on clothing, thus reducing cost per wear!

Mini Bubble Necklace: Jane, $15. Jane is one of my favorite places to shop for designer inspired jewelry. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact Etsy shop name. I did a quick search and found this Etsy boutique: Wedskie, $9.

Tote: Longchamp (Planetes Tote Bag), $gift - retails at $160.
