It's A Cinch

How is it already September?! It always saddens me a bit, when we pass the Labor Day mark. It only means that Fall is just around the corner. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Fall fashion, but I am just not ready for the Summer to end. Based on the forecast, all signs point to a few more warmer days. So don't stow away your shorts just yet, ladies! Keep on baring those gams! The minute I laid eyes on these shorts, I had to have them. They were the only pair left on the rack, in my size and on final sale. This is what I call fate. On the surface, they seem like a simple pair of brown shorts but the details really up the ante. The pleats and loose fit are offset by the cinched waist, which gives it a nice feminine shape. I decided to go casual, pairing it with my fave old T and throwing on a layered necklace (with tassels!). Heels were a must. Don't you agree they just make your legs look toned without trying? Last but not least, my RM crossbody just pulls it all together.

You'll be seeing these shorts again, as I give them the Fall treatment in the upcoming months. What Summer pieces do you plan on carrying into the Fall/Winter season?
