Flannel x Play

Here it is! My new fave, uber soft flannel shirt that I previously styled for work, now styled for play. With the cold temps upon us, (snow on Wed, eek!), all I want to do is put on the layers. So it made perfect sense to throw on a knit cocoon cardigan and I was as cozy as can be. Not to mention, I threw on another layer, the ubiquitous blanket scarf (not pictured) to make sure that the cold outdoors did not slow me down. Our target was C&B and our mission was to purchase the few remaining items on our registry. We then nipped into Cafe Jaffa (our first time) for some hummus and schwarma. It reminded me of our trip to Israel two summers ago. On another note. Can you believe Thanksgiving is in a few days?! Where has this year gone? As I think about this year (and the future) I am thankful for my family, husband (eek!) and friends (old and new). Without these people in my life (and you guys!), I don't think I'd be where I am today. I have to say, I am pretty darn lucky. What are you most thankful for?

Evil Eye Bracelet: This was a souvenir I bought myself from the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem, Israel. I love Alex & Ani's new line of pull chain bracelets. So here is their evil eye that is comparable, $78.

Jeans: Paige Denim from Marshalls (old from the clearance rack for $10!). It always pays to stop by your local Marshalls but a great alternative are from Gap, $69.95.
