Draped
I don't know about you, but I am a big online shopper. No lines, no people, no fuss. I can shop on my own terms, in my pajamas, if need be. However, there was a bit of a void when it came to some of my favorite local boutiques. With my free time becoming non-existent as of late, popping into these boutiques have not been easy. Speaking from a blogging perspective, there have been times I wish I could link directly to any one of the boutiques' products. Low and behold, Boutikey has solved the problem! I am a big fan of the Boutikey app, which allows shoppers to earn points at their fave boutiques to ultimately unlock an in-store reward. If you haven't already, download the app! Any-hoo, Boutikey recently launched their ecommerce site: ShopBoutikey.com. The site recently launched and the starting line-up includes: Vamped Boutique, Pretty Reckless, Ku De Ta, Heart & Sole and Haven. Stay tuned as other boutiques join the site. In collaboration with Boutikey, I am excited to present to Trendy On A Budget readers and followers a 15% discount code. Enter TRENDYBUDGET at checkout thru 9/30. So go on, get your shop on!
As I browsed the site, I wanted to put so many things in my shopping cart. Being on a budget, I had to choose carefully. I allowed myself just one indulgence. I was drawn to the draped Aztec sweater vest; the perfect transition-to-Fall piece. The versatility of the vest makes it easy to pair with any number of pieces: with a tank, long sleeve, chambray or over a dress! The list goes on. For its inaugural wear, I went with an all black canvas. The print and drape breaks up the monotony and ups the ante on a simple T and jean outfit. This is the perfect weekend-blogger-date outfit. I met up with Rachel (La Mariposa Blog) at the Nespresso Cafe on Newbury Street. It was great chit-chatting about planning our weddings, blogging and shopping while sipping on delicious iced coffee (me) and hot chocolate (Rachel). Knowing that I couldn't keep her hostage all day (and I am sure we could have kept on talking!), we parted ways to enjoy the remainder of our Sunday. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, too!
