Bomber Jacket
Doesn't it drive you crazy that women's clothing sizes can differ tremendously between brands? I think the guys got one over us with their consistent sizing. Measurements as sizing? Sounds pretty simple to me. So online shopping is always a bit of a gamble. To hedge my bets, I always order one item in a few sizes, just to be sure. But then it's a pain in the rear having to return the ones that didn't fit quite right. To pile on to that, some places charge for shipping. Simply the worst. I was recently introduced to eShakti, a women's online clothing company that specializes in customization without breaking the bank. I was intrigued.
I am all about layering this Fall and jackets/blazers are quickly accumulating in my closet. I decided to give eShakti a whirl with its quilted jacquard ponte bomber jacket. The faux leather trim and quilted jacquard front gives the traditional bomber jacket a little something, something. It can easily be thrown on top of any outfit for those cool Fall days and evenings. When it came to sizing myself for this jacket, I opted for the 'standard size' option. With my measurements, I determined my size from the chart. I then entered my height and selected the length of the jacket (hip length). If you fancy, for an additional $7.50, you can go with the 'custom size' and provide your exact measurements.
15 calendar days after my order was submitted, I received my jacket. I have to say, the jacket fits pretty darn good! This guy will be on rotation throughout the Fall (or as long as it will keep me warm). Jeans-check! T-check! Bomber Jacket-check,check!
