Biker Babe
Remember in my last post when I talked about how outfit planning can sometimes be problematic when mornings start off cold but feel like it's a whole other season by the by afternoon? I mean, it hit the high 70's over here in Beantown. But have no fear! Thank goodness for lightweight coats and really cool jackets.
I'm digging the biker/moto leather jacket trend that's literally in-your-face everywhere. The cool factor of any humdrum outfit can automatically be turned up with an edgy biker jacket. Let's be honest, there's nothing exotic about my gray t-shirt and black jeans combo. But throw on this jacket and the quilted patterns and exposed hardware adds the right amount 'I am bad ass' vibe to this look.
Note: This is a faux leather jacket. Not that I have anything against real leather, but I am not in a place right now to shell out a few $$$ for the real deal. I have to say, I'm pretty happy with the quality on this one. It doesn't look/feel plastic-y; if that even makes any sense. Down the line, if it becomes passe, I won't even be sad about it. I got this on sale but even at it's full price, it's shy of $100. What a deal, huh?
Anyhow, this will be it from me for awhile. I'll be heading west for some grand adventures. Stay tuned on my Instagram/Facebook/Twitter and Snapchat (trendyonabudget)!
