Wifey.
The t-shirt says it all. Wifey. That's me! Since I have been back, people keep asking me how it feels. Honestly, I feel tired. All the running around and adrenaline pumping through my veins all the days leading up to our wedding wore me out. Thankfully, we had two days of R&R at the St. Regis Bahia Beach before coming home to Beantown. The funny thing is, getting married hasn't changed much. Dan and I have been together for over 6 years, co-habitated for the past 2 and love each other as much (if not more) as we did before we got hitched. I guess we now have papers that make us legit in the Commonwealth and come this tax season, we can file jointly as married (that's the budget side of me). When it comes to the weekend, I'm definitely a jeans and T kind of girl. So it made sense to pair my Wifey t-shirt with black jeggings and a blazer. Then, I couldn't help myself. Had to break out my sparkly wedding Choos. They are unbelievably comfortable. I danced the entire wedding night away without changing out of them. Now that is money well spent! As for the sunnies, funny story. I purchased them specifically for our Halloween costume. I as Yoko Ono and Dan as John Lennon (we made it into the local Metro!). However, I have been wearing them non-stop since the Halloween party. Any-who. This get-up made for the perfect day-to-evening outfit, taking me from errands to a girls night in with some of my gal-pals.
Outfit Details:
Round Sunglasses: Nasty Gal (round and round shades), $20.
Eiffel Tour Necklace: Blue Lemon Paris (bday gift from mon ami).
Wifey Tee: Ily Couture, $46 (paid $41.40). I managed to snatch one with a 10% discount right before I left for PR. Worth following them on Instagram to keep on top of sales.
Open-Front Blazer: Love Ady from Lord & Taylor (old). Here are a few similars: (1) Forever21: Satin Lapel Blazer, $27.80 and (2) H&M: Fitted Jacket, $24.95.
Beaded Bracelet w/ Tassel: Amazonas AccesoriosPR from Pure Soul in Old San Juan, $20. This was a cute lil boutique that carried clothing and accessories by local Puerto Rican designers.
Black Jean Leggings: Gap, $69.95 (paid $24.97). I am sure I sound like a broken record by now. The Banana Republic store card has great perks! Not only did I get 50% off these jeggings, I also used a reward cert to chip away at the price. But do not be discouraged if you do not have a card. Gap is pretty good with their sales; just keep an eye out!
Clutch: GiGi New York (all in one bag in embossed python), $80-ish. I bought this clutch for myself and my 5 bridesmaids as their gift a few months ago. I stalked the site until they had a few gray ones and bought them out!
Open Toe Pump: Jimmy Choo (Luna in Champagne), $gift from parents! This color is no longer avail on the Jimmy Choo site but IS avail at Nordstrom, $675.
