White On!
Oh the chambray top; a closet staple I can't seem to stay away from! This particular one had me at hello. The structured boyfriend style is softened by the gorgeous all over floral print and light weight fabric. The minute I laid eyes on it, I had to have it. The fact that it was on sale didn't hurt the cause, either. I am already thinking about how easy it'll be to style this top many other ways: underneath a shift dress, with a pair of shorts or with a solid pencil skirt and pumps for that casual day in the office.
Now that we have crossed the Memorial Day threshold, I finally broke out my first whites of the season. I love how white just adds a crispness to any outfit. But before I donned these white jeans, I had to scrub, scrub, scrub all the colored powder I was covered in from the Color Me Rad 5K I participated in earlier that morning with Khatu, Elissa and Heather. This chambray & white denim duo created an off-duty uniform that worked perfectly for day (running errands and buying macarons) to night (impromptu dinner with friends).

Fitted Boyfriend Floral Chambray Shirt: Gap, $24.99! Can you believe it? I couldn't find this exact one online, s check your local Gap (I purchased this last week). BUT, there are other floral print chambray shirts on sale starting at $26.99.
Bracelets: (1) Leather and Gold Studded Bangle: Banana Republic, $gift. A friend gave this to my for my birthday last October. Albeit not leather, for a similar look, I recommend the colored bangle from Ily Couture, $9 (sale) and (2) Watson Street Vintage Bracelet that I won from adjewelry. It's one of a kind. Check out her etsy shop for other amazing vintage inspired jewels.
