As much as I love getting dressed up and draping myself with accessories, sometimes keeping it simple just fits the bill. With weddings and showers winding down, I have reclaimed my weekends. This means lots of catching up before the holiday season starts. With a long list of to-do's, my errands were sure to take me all over the city.
My comfy weekend wear usually entails leggings paired with a sweater/cardigan/sweatshirt. Knowing that I'd be out all day, I needed an outfit that would take me from day to night. I stuck with my comfy equation but took it up a notch. No plain leggings here! I am obsessed with quilted faux leather anything and the paneling on these leggings are killer. The asymmetrical wrap cardigan has the warmth of a sweatshirt yet the elegance of a cape. The final touch to this outfit? A punch of color with my chunky bracelet and flats.

Asymmetrical Fleece Wrap Cardigan: Bobeau (in grey excalibur) from Nordstrom, $39.90. This is one of my fave items from my closet. It's warm like a sweatshirt yet elegant like a cape. It makes the perfect travel companion, especially while on airplanes. If grey isn't your thing, this wrap comes in 19 different colors/prints!
Heather Grey T-Shirt: Old Navy (vintage-style v-neck in medium gray), $7.50.

Aviator Sunglasses: Prada Outlet, $129. Piperlime has a selection of aviators for $100 or less. I also like these aviators from Urban Outfitters. At $14, it's a steal!
Bracelet: Tory Burch Outlet, $35. For something similar, check out the Etsy shop, Brentag. At such an affordable price point, buy a few to stack! I own a Brentag bracelet and love it!
