Plaid, Burgundy & Tassels
I really dislike ironing. I don't mind the occasional t-shirt or dress that requires a little pressing. But when it comes to my work wardrobe, I kinda give up. I can never get that perfect pleat on my dress pants. And my dress shirts are never as crisp as when they come back from the dry cleaner. Why is that? I pretty much have given up and resorted to washing the pieces myself and dropping them off at my dry cleaner for the finishing touches. I know, hashtag lazy, hashtag waste of money. It wasn't until recently that I decided to give those non-iron dress shirts a try. How is it possible that they requiring NO ironing? My intrigue was answered by a sale at BR, which was the perfect opp to give one a try. How have I waited so long? This literally is the answer to my ironing woes. I am now a believer! On top of the low maintenance guarantee (machine wash), the fit is pretty perfect and it's plaid. The prefect trifecta!
In the same vane as my last post, I am slowly adding pieces to my work outfits to transition into the Fall season. One of my favorite Fall hues is a rich burgundy. Cue in the messenger bag I intro'd to you in my last post. I am going to apologize ahead of time for throwing this bag in your face, but it's quickly becoming my go-to bag. Love this color so much, decided to go for a double dose with these pants. And to top off this outfit, I added some flair and texture with a layered tassel necklace. Because really, what outfit couldn't use some flair?
