Moto Gang
Moto. Tribal print. Faux leather. Gold hardware. A handful of my favorite details pulled together in this one perfectly fitted jacket. Worn with my black skinnies and riding boots, I looked like I was ready to join a biker gang. Now I just need to find a motorcycle! I wore this outfit while wedding dress shopping. So here I was, dressed like a biker chick mixed in amongst white blinged-out dresses. Oh, the irony. I love colors and print. However, if you are nervous about wearing bright bold hues, a printed jacket like this can make just as much of a statement. Pick one detail (color or print) and work neutral/muted colors around it, making the item a focal point of your outfit. Read on for some eye-catching jacket recommendations.
Outfit Details:
Aviator Sunglasses: Prada Outlet, $129. A few aviators at much lower price points: (1) Nordstrom: FE NY Aviator Sunglasses, $22 and (2) H&M. At $5.95; what a steal!
Tribal Moto Jacket: Piperlime (Sabine), $17.98. I scored this jacket on major discount during a sale on sale items. Due to its popularity, the jacket is no longer available. Here are a few great options from Piperlime: (1) Tinley Road: Tweed Moto Jacket, $44.97; (2) Pale Sky: Aztec Crop Jacket, $44.97; and (3) Rhyme Los Angeles: Tapestry Arm Vegan Leather Moto, $44.97.
Tee: Gap (essential short-sleeve crew), $15.
Black Skinny Jeans: Club Monaco, $49.50. I purchased these on sale last winter. For something similar, I recommend Gap's 1969 legging jeans, $49 (sale). I own them in other colors and they are super comfy.
Riding Boots: Tahari (brady) from Marshall's, $99. The closest in-season pair I found are from Macy's, also by Tahari: Karen Tall Riding Boots, $149.99. Don't forget to use your Macy's coupons for additional savings.
