Mixed Media

Reminiscing about my mini-vaca in FLA.......Sunny warm weather meant that I could finally break out the spring/summer clothes.  I filled my mini suitcase with some of my recent bargain buys during the Bloomingdale's Friends and Family event (one of my favorite annual events!).

I am always drawn to mixed media clothing; I think it adds an interesting twist to any outfit. I am also a fan of slouchy relaxed fitting tops.  So when I found this Free People shirt, it was a match made in heaven. My rule of thumb is that if I am wearing a loose fitting top, I always pair it with bottoms that have a tighter fit (shorts, jeggings, skinny jeans). Too much fabric could result in an overpowering outfit. For shoes, I opted for my latest obsession: flat espadrilles. Many different brands carry them in different prints and price points. So you can definitely find a pair that will fit in your budget.
