Jacquard Fit & Flare

Getting dressed for work in New England is such a mind game. It' 82 outside so I grab a sleeveless dress - perfect for my commute into the office. But once there, it's as cold as a meat locker so I am forced to layer up with the handy pashmina I leave in my cube. Then winter rolls around and I bundle up like crazy. BUT since the office is still just as cold, I'm pretty comfortable. What is up with offices being SO cold???

When it comes to buying clothes for work, I try my best to by pieces that can cross over multiple seasons. That's why this lightweight jacquard dress is the best. I'm also partial to fit & flare dress. It just cinches at the right place! It's perfect for the warmer season (accompanied by a cardigan or blazer, of course). By the time the cold weather comes around, I'll throw on a pair of tights and slip a long sleeved shirt underneath. Not to mention, it has the slightest faux leather piping detail AND pockets!The pockets are super handy for work as that is where I stash my badge since there's no good place to clip it on. When I wear a no-pockets dress, I tend to leave my badge at my desk only to get locked out of our space.
