Black & Blue

Nobody ever asks for a black and blue, but when it comes to putting an outfit together, I am a fan of this color combo! I love to add a punch of color or a dose of print to my work outfits to give them some personality. In a sea of dress pants and button-downs in the office, I don't mind being an anomaly in this department. Another anomaly here are the pants. I am more of a dress/skirt kind of working girl, but the bold blue hue and polished fit of these pants led me to jump ship for the day. The rest of the outfit is pretty simple, a black sweater and classic black pumps. Simple always calls for a statement necklace and this was the perfect backdrop for one. It was the connecting piece, highlighting the sassy blue and pulling the outfit together. (p.s. Start getting used to seeing the inside of my apartment. Some mornings are just too cold for outdoor pics. Oh the woes of a new englander!) Outfit Details:

I recommend taking a look at the rose gold 18K plated braid ring by tawnieandbrina on Etsy, $18 each. Check back often for the gold version.
