Gingham OTS
After dabbling in the "OTS" (off the shoulder) trend while vacationing on Amelia Island, I can officially say, I'm hooked! As such, during the most recent Loft sale, I nabbed this number. Black and white gingham, OTS and knotted detailing - I was sold, literally. This dress was the most perfect attire for a bridal shower brunch. And will most likely be very fitting for any other activities this summer brings.
Just a few quick notes regarding the fit. First, this dress comes with a matching (removable) waist tie. To my husband's dismay, I love my clothes flowy. As such, I opted to forgo the waist tie. In fact, I took an exacto knife and cut off the little loops that hold the waist tie on. Lastly, I purchased an XS and it fit pretty well. However, I kinda wish that I went for a small. The elasticized neckline hugged me very snug. That meant anytime I raised my arms a certain height, the neckline would creep up and I ended up having to adjust myself. But all in all, I'm pretty happy with this dress!
