I was thrilled when asked by Boutikey to participate in a photo shoot with 12 other Boston bloggers. Each blogger was assigned to a boutique and lucky me, I was paired with one that I frequent often and is located right in my neighborhood: Ku De Ta. The mission, which I chose to accept, was to style an outfit I’d wear to a yacht party. I’ve never been on a yacht before, so I got to play pretend. Working with the boutique’s buyer, Emily, we conjured up a fab outfit, which is what you will see in the photo gallery (if you have not already seen snippets on Instagram). Before I go into the who, what, when, where and how behind this day of glam, let me tell you a bit about Boutikey.
Boutikey is a mobile app created by Tiana Haraguchi and connects shoppers with local boutiques. Shoppers earn points for purchases made and after accumulating a certain amount, a boutique specific reward is unlocked. The app also gives shoppers a heads-up of exclusive offers at their fave boutiques. Go on and download the app!
Here’s the blogger role call (from L to R from back row to front): Kristen, Allie, Mo, Jessye, Kayte, Emily, Jyo, Me, Tiana, Kelsey,Laura, Lindsay, and Molly (Katherine not shown).
Many thanks to Ashley Karlson Hair & Makeup Artistry for doing us up and Lauren of LT Photography for the snaps! And major thanks and props to Ku De Ta for the outfit. I was #yachtcity ready!
