I enjoy no to low commitment weekends, especially on a sunny and clear day like today. Started my morning off with a high energy zumba class, picked up my little yorkie from the dog groomer, fixed myself a cup of coffee and planned my day. Knowing that the rest of the day will be filled with running errands, I was strategic in picking my outfit.

When in doubt, pick a dress! Are you sensing a pattern with my outfit choices for work? This is one of my faves. The simplicity of this navy dress is amped up by the allover key print and a hint of gold hardware. The cinched waist and ruffled neckline adds texture and shape, while being work appropriate (hem hits the knees, neckline is not revealing with cap sleeves).

Probably after a few more posts, you will come to see that I have a slight obsession with anything skull and cross bone related. I don’t know what it is, but I just like the way it looks printed on clothing or incorporated into jewelry. Even thought it’s spring time and most people are sporting their neons and florals, I decided to go for a mostly black look. Can’t go wrong with black, right?
