Trendy On A Budget

Looking good shouldn't cost that much!

Min-Tee Fresh.

warby parker_gap_marshalls_frontAn event I look forward to attending a few times over the summer months are the Polo matches down in Newport, Rhode Island, which our great friends Phil and Taylor graciously host. This always means hours on end before and after the matches of eating and drinking under the sun or moon lit sky.  With that said, I made sure to dress comfortably for this event (think elastic waistband).

It used to be that the only articles of clothing that had an elastic waistband were sweats and leggings. Thankfully, they have become somewhat mainstream and can now be seen on some of the cutest skirts and shorts out there. So on this particular warm and sunny day, I threw on my printed elastic waistband-ed skirt and paired it with a loose fitting T that highlighted the mint in the print of the skirt. I love the over-sized pockets that really serve no purpose; just an added detail. Of course, I had to wear my horse pendant necklace to pay homage to the players of the game. I ate and ate and drank and didn’t feel an ounce of pain that entire day! And if you are curious, Newport won the match against Philadelphia.
