Give me all the high waisted pants! What’s there not to love? When cinched in all the right places, it accentuates your feminine curves. And when it’s a pair of denim, it holds everything in! I went on a bit of a spree – starting off with a pair of jeans from the Nordstrom sale, followed that up with this pair from a cute local shop right here in the Dot.
This past weekend, my girlfriend and I stopped by The Cue, a retail and style lounge. We had the chance to meet the owner, Lindsay Tia (yes, the creator of Lindsay Tia handbags), who is the sweetest, BTW. The store will be fully open come this Fall, but keep an eye on her Instagram for limited soft opening hours. The Cue has an amazing collection of accessories (including Quay sunnies of which I grabbed a pair) and a great selection of clothing. The space is amazing and beautifully decorated, perfect for hosting events. So keep an eye out for those, as well!
Ok, so back to these amazing pants. After rifling through the racks of clothing, I was immediately drawn to them. First for the pattern, second for the pleated high waistline and lastly, the waist tie. What I love most about them is the versatility. For it’s first appearance, I dressed them for the office. But I can easily dress this down with a cropped t-shirt or a knotted chambray button down with a pair of sandals or cute sneaks. And you know I love driving my cost per wear down. Running at under $75, it’ll be easy getting this pair down into the dollars.
Truth time. Are you on team high waisted or nah?
