Trendy On A Budget

Looking good shouldn't cost that much!

Fringe with Benefits

Astr_Old Navy_cover

Cozy sweaters have been my jam as of late thanks to the crazy weather we’ve been experiencing up here in the Northeast. Low temps, snow and rain. You name it, it’s been happening. With weather like this, all I can think about putting on are warm cozy sweaters. To give my faves a rest from all the wear, I added this fun number to my arsenal. I can never say no to some good fringe. Set against the marled knit, the fringe adds subtle texture giving this top some oomph. This knit is cozy and I think it’s kinda perfect (and it was on sale).

As I set to publish this post, the forecast is swinging in the other direction this weekend. I hear it might hit 60 degrees (say whaaaat?). I’m super excited about this as I am heading to NYC and the forecast is looking just as good!

Have a great rest of the week and weekend friends!

Outfit Details:

Earrings: Bauble Bar via Nordstrom Rack, $16.80. This par was part of a trio and was a holiday gift from my husband.

Sweater: Astr via Bloomingdale’s, $90 (sale). I actually purchased this sweater earlier in the month when there was a brown bag sale. Additionally, I’m a Loyallist member and ended up using my reward towards this, bringing this sweater down to nearly half of the original price. SO, keep an eye on this one as the price may go down in another sale.

Watch: c/o Jord.

Jeans: Old Navy, $30 (sale). This was a distressed denim DIY 🙂
