My Weekend in Brooklyn & NYC

NYC Plane View

Two weekends ago, Dan and I took a mini-trip to New York. On this particular trip, Dan and I parted ways. He to the UES and I to Brooklyn. But each night, we would gather with our friends for dinner. We kicked off the weekend on a high note with dinner at Birds & Bubbles. I couldn’t join in on the bucket of fried chicken fun (oh, Lent), but the sides were ah-mazing! Journey of a Dress

colorfulTwo weeks ago, I found myself in LA. At the top of my list of things ‘to-do’ next to lunching at the Ivy, was to pay a visit to the Journey of a Dress exhibit at LACMA. Jersey in Jerusalem

banana republic outlet_bauble barOne of my favorite items this summer are all things maxi; dress and skirt. The fit and ease of one makes it a go-to staple for the summer. It was one of the most relaxing parts of the trip, as our stay spanned over Shabbat (day of rest). So our days were spent strolling through town and hanging by the hotel pool. We stayed at The Dan Carmel Haifa, which is located on Mt. Carmel, providing a great view of the city.

Rewind: Iceland

icelandNow that I am back into the swing of things since my return from Iceland, I figured I would give you an update on my short stint in Reyjavik; what I did, what I wore, etc. My weekend trip was to surprise a dear friend for her big 3-0! She was completely shocked when she woke up to her sister and me chilling in the sick apartment her husband rented for us. The apartment was full of interesting pieces of art, as you will see in some of my pics below.
