Arriba! Girls Night In @ Ku De Ta!

Trendy On A Budget (3)This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to host a ‘Girls Night In’ at Ku De Ta, a women’s clothing and accessories boutique located right in my neighborhood of South Boston. Supporting local business with a shopping event? I was sold! With wine and cupcakes on hand, friends and fans of Trendy On A Budget shopped the night away, which was made easy by the generous discount given to all attendees. Let’s just say most of us walked away that night with some fabulous pieces. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you must swing by and say hello to the Ku De Ta girls. You will not be disappointed with their inventory. In the meantime, you can follow the boutique on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

The store was my playground and I could pick and choose whatever I wanted. Too bad I couldn’t keep it all (sigh). Read on to see my favorite looks!

Mixing & Mingling

cocktails and consigScattered throughout my blog are posts that feature consignment finds. To me, consignment shopping is a fiscally responsible and economic way to build your wardrobe without dropping a ton of money. On the flip side, there is a monetary incentive to purge that closet! Yes, consignment stores can be overwhelming and you must be in the right frame of mind (and mood) to riffle through racks and stacks. But every now and then, a hidden gem will be uncovered.
