Wood Watch

Jord_peace

When it comes to timepieces, I only have two. One has a quilted black strap with a rectangular gold face while the other is a two toned (silver & gold) metal watch my parents gave me on my 21st birthday. Needless to say, I am picky when it comes to watches. I like them simple and neutral, allowing me to pair it easily with whatever I am wearing. Four Eyes

Needless to say, accessorizing with glasses was not really an option (says bank account).

She has amassed a beautiful collection and I just wanted ALL of them!

In keeping with the vintage theme, I rifled through my closet and pulled some of my favorite dresses for the shoot. The hardest part was styling the outfits due to the sheer amount of jewels: trays upon trays and containers upon containers!

Black + Metal

Etsy_Club Monaco_Banana Republic_coverBetween my last post and this post, I think I have hit both ends of the colorful spectrum. Last Friday, I met up with a few girlfriends for dinner at Stella in the South End to celebrate a birthday. An all black pairing of a peplum top and skinny jeans fit the bill: simple yet chic. A few mandatory metallic accessories gave my outfit the right amount of flash and glimmer.
