Trendy On A Budget

Looking good shouldn't cost that much!

Bejewel Me Giveaway

I need your input! Here is a sneak peek of a dress I plan on wearing to a wedding reception in February. I have gone through my jewelry trying to choose a necklace to pair with this new dress. It was a fruitless effort since in the end, I decided that I need a new necklace. Ok, maybe I don’t need  a new necklace, but I’d sure like one! Here is where you come in. I want your recommendation on what necklace to wear and if I end up choosing it, I’ll purchase one for you and one for me!

Because your dress has a larger pattern to it, I think a smaller scale necklace is needed to balance it out. I like The City of Oaks Necklace by The Painted Pearl (Courtney Lindsay Frye). She sells the necklace on her Facebook site (The Painted Pearl)under the necklace post on January 4th. Cost is $14. Hope you have a fun time at the wedding!

Wow, $15 was tough! But I found a few options that I think would work and narrowed it down to this one:

I like the simplicity of this necklace. I think it’s understated enough to keep the focus on the dress, yet it still adds a nice amount of shine. Also, the hammered gold circles remind me of the gold rosettes on the dress. 🙂
